Work you love, made easy.

Onda matches verified gig workers with New Zealand businesses that need a shift covered. You don't chase work here. Work finds you.

For workers

Shifts come to you, already matched.

Tell Onda what work you like and how far you'll travel. When a business nearby needs someone, you get sent the shift with the pay, the hours and the suburb up front. The exact address comes through 24 hours before a shift you've confirmed. Accept it or decline it. That's the whole thing.

Every shift you finish builds a verified work record you keep — proof of what you've done and how you were rated, that follows you to the next job.

For businesses

Up to four vetted people, not fifty strangers.

Post the shift. Onda ranks a short list of workers who match what you asked for and are actually available. Send it, and the first person to accept is locked in.

Every worker has had their ID checked by a person on the Onda team and has declared their right to work in New Zealand. You see why each one was matched: the work they do, when they're free, how far away they are, and how many shifts they've completed.

How a shift works

  1. A business posts the shiftDate, hours, location, pay rate and what the work involves.
  2. Onda builds a short listUp to four verified workers, ranked on fit, distance and history. The business can reorder them.
  3. The shift is sent outIt goes to the top match first, then down the list if they pass or don't respond.
  4. The first to accept is bookedAccepting is a commitment, not an expression of interest. Both sides get the confirmation.
  5. Both sides rate the shiftStars and a few quick words both ways. The worker also answers: was it paid on time and in full, did it match the description, did they feel safe. Ratings stay hidden until both sides have answered, or 14 days have passed.

Why Onda is built around trust

Gig work runs on Facebook groups, group chats and calling around. It works right up until you're hiring someone nobody can vouch for, or turning up to a shift you can't verify anything about.

Onda's job is to carry that missing information. Identity is checked by a person on the Onda team before anyone works. Workers declare their right to work in New Zealand. Completed shifts are recorded. None of it is a score out of ten — you see the specific reasons a person was matched to you, and workers see how reliably a business has paid past workers on time.
